"Kafir" of AntiJihad created the following list of sites, including the descriptions and reviews, offering an alternative view on Islam. Since then, new sites have been added by "Raven" and "Kovac," who are also members of the same organization. I should like to thank them for their immense work. They were also kind enough to give me permission to reproduce it here, and even provided me the list in a form that my computer could handle for publication. The most current version of this list can be found at www.geocities.com/ listislam.
Most, though not all, of the Web sites devoted to criticizing Islam are hosted and written by Christians, Hindus, or Jews. If you bear this in mind, and thus make allowances for the particular viewpoint from which they are written, then you will find most of the links here of immense value.
I do not necessarily endorse or agree with the tone or the entire contents of all the Web sites listed below. How could I, since I am an atheist, humanist, and rationalist? I have simply tried to give a comprehensive list of sites critical of Islam. But, of course, to the extent that they do criticize Islam in a rational way, bringing textual, historical, philological, and philosophical arguments to bear on Islamic doctrine and practice, I do approve of them.
