Like we said, she did enjoy baking. Mostly cookies, but a cake now and then. She baked him a heart-shaped cake for Valentine’s Day in their last year together. She found a recipe for snickerdoodles, and she tweaked it a bit (+ brown sugar) and tweaked it a bit again (+ an extra stick of butter) and those snickerdoodles were fucking good. She wore a vintage apron when she baked because the flour always went everywhere but it happened that he found her sexy in the apron and hugged her from behind when she wore it and at the end there were snickerdoodles and he really, really liked the snickerdoodles, but he still wanted a meal.
