Nice shirts. Shirts they don’t have the budget for, or not four at a time, anyway. The wife never buys any shirts besides t-shirts for the husband. She’s been shirt shopping with him. This hem isn’t right. That color is weird. Those sleeves are too short. This cut doesn’t look good on me.
I think it’s too much, the wife says.
Yeah, me too, says the husband. He’s asking what she thinks, though, and she leaves out the part about thinking that this woman is interested in her husband.
