Attack on Ginchy (9/9) – followed 1st Royal Munster Fusiliers into assault and took attack through village at 5.25 p.m. Casualties – 227. Via Bernafay Wood cross-roads to Happy Valley (10/9), Corbie (11/9), Béttencourt (18/9). Entrained at Longpré for Ypres sector (21/9).
